The next series of Huawei’s photography focused P series is going to be unveiled on 27th March. Now that we know that these will be called the P20, here’s what they will look like, thanks to some CAD renders by @OnLeaks.
There will be a 3 camera setup on the back. The fingerprint scanner will be on the front with an unusual 19:9 display of around 6″. There also seems to be an iPhone X-esque notch on the top. There seem to be 2 front cameras, which could help with some sort of a Face Unlock. It will be exciting to see if the smartphones also adopt the iPhone X-style 3D sensing facial recognition for bio-metric authentication.
The Huawei P20 Lite, which is rumoured to be the cheapest phone in the P20 series, is expected to feature a dual-camera setup at its rear. The phone will reportedly measure 148.6×71.2×8mm, and could come with a 5.7-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. On the other hand, the P20+ is rumoured to feature a triple-camera setup on its rear. Measuring 155.3×74.2×7.7mm, it will sport a larger, 6-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, the P20+ could also get rid of the front-facing home button. There could be a fingerprint reader at the rear of the Huawei P20 Lite.
